Sam Maarbani is looking for two or three salespeople and a marketer to help him sell the Crystal 512 hair-removal machine.

He'd prefer the successful applicants work for a commission of about $1000 a machine sold, rather than a salary, and suggests they will need to work about three to four hours a day.

"You've got to have not so much a qualification but very good experience looking at the client's area [and discovering] who the clients are . . . and ringing them up, making appointments, going to visit them, showing them the catalogue [and] explaining the machine - the advantages and disadvantages," Maarbani says.

The clients are cosmetic surgeons as well as hair and beauty salons and the successful candidates will be able to demonstrate why Maarbani's imported hair removal machine is superior to others. "[You'll need to] try and convince them to buy this machine instead of their laser machines," he says.

"This machine is not distributed in Australia . . . this one is a completely different one made in Israel."

Maarbani says the job would suit people in all situations, including those already working.

The ideal candidate is someone "who hasn't got a job, or someone who is already working from home who knows how to work the internet and [send] emails and who knows how to talk on the phone".

Maarbani says most of all, "They've got to be honest."
